SwitchDin Appoints a New Chief Executive Officer

Newcastle, AUSTRALIA - 20 October 2023 - SwitchDin, an energy technology company announced today that it has appointed Mario Vecchio as its new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

With more than 25 years of experience, Mario is a distinguished business leader and trusted strategic advisor to businesses having worked with a broad spectrum of industries from energy, technology, education, healthcare, mining, transportation, financial services to government globally..

He will be responsible for driving SwitchDin’s Vision, strategy, growth domestically and its international expansion while establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with customers and industry stakeholders who are involved in the clean energy transition.  

Founded in 2014, SwitchDin is the software middleware interconnect layer between energy utilities, network operators and energy end users such as households and businesses with rooftop solar, batteries, EVs and EV charging infrastructure. Our software middleware platform securely connects distributed energy resources to grid resources, allowing asset owners to connect, control and communicate with a diverse range of assets to deliver a truly flexible and responsive grid.
