SwitchDin to shut our doors on 20 September

SwitchDin will close shop tomorrow afternoon to support our employees to take part in the climate strike taking place across the globe.

We’re joining 2,200+ (and counting) organisations who have pledged to make the day ‘not business as usual’ by taking action to disrupt their work.

From midday the SwitchDin office will be closed, and we’ve invited all our employees to make their way to the ocean on public transport (Newcastle light rail), bicycle or on foot via the climate action rally in Newcastle’s Civic Park.

What is the Global Climate Strike?

Over the past year, millions of young people participated in school climate strikes to send a clear message that the climate crisis needs immediate attention.

This September, those same school students are calling on adults to join them on the streets to demand an end to the age of fossil fuels. Millions of adults will walk out of their workplaces and homes to support solutions to the most important crisis facing our world.
